So I had a great tour down south. Other than missing my first plane back to Philadelphia and succumbing to early morning didn't get enough sleep travel mishaps, the trip was great. Played with a bunch of awesome bands, too many to name really.
I was a guest on Rogues Gallery Radio show in Panama City, FL and afterwords played an awesome show at the A&M Theater. You can check out the show at http://www.roguesgalleryradio.com/rogues-gallery.html.
Also I'm dropping the name "No Excuse For A Cheap Suit". I kind of explain it on the radio show, but basically when I had first started this project I had intended to have a rotating cast of musicians and all the time playing under that moniker. I had some musicians that were interested at first, but the whole time it just ended up being me playing solo. And so in the end I have decided to re-brand as me, Matthew Charles.
My next goal is to record a new album, but I am going to spend a lot of time on this one. I feel my first few recordings have been good, but they almost just serve as demos. Hopefully I'll have a couple guest musicians, I have a couple really good ones that said they'd be into it. Maybe I'll have it done by summer, who knows.
